Re-elected in , Gentleman was first appointed to the Ministry in July and is currently Minister for Environment and Heritage, Planning and Land Management, Police and Emergency Services amongst other portfolios. He is also Manager of Government Business in the Assembly. She is retired from the federal public service and devotes her time and experience to social justice causes. Soxsmith also contested Brindabella as an Animal Justice Party candidate at the election. Davis was born and raised in Canberra, living in Gungahlin until he was 12 and in Tuggeranong since.
He works as a registered real estate agent and auctioneer after studying politics and policy at the University of Canberra. Davis is the Green's lead candidate in Brindabella.
A regular candidate for the ACT Greens, having previously contested Canberra at the , and Federal elections, as well as Brindabella at the , and A. Daniels grew up in a Defence family and has lived in Tuggeranong since He has worked in the Canberra region for the last 19 years as an accountant. He states that as an accountant, he is passionate about making sure voters get the most out of their rates and taxes.
Hiatt is a small business owner, mother of four, linguist, naval servicewoman, educator and ultra-marathon runner. She moved with her husband to Canberra after leaving full-time service in the Navy to raise their family in They started a family business in the dental industry. Hiatt says her passion for education saw her start her own successful tuition business in in the Tuggeranong region. Lawder was born in Malaysia while her father was on Australian defence service in the country, and moved to Canberra in with her then young family.
Lawder was an unsuccessful candidate for Brindabella at the election before being elected in June at the casual vacancy countback caused by the resignation of Zed Seselja. Parton spent 17 years running radio programs in Canberra, and before his election spent seven years on 2CC as breakfast presenter. He previously worked in radio in Adelaide, Newcastle, Launceston and Perth.
Parton left 2CC at the end of with rumours that he might become a Liberal candidate, but he was only announced as a candidate much later after Brendan Smyth's resignation from the Assembly.
Parton previously contested Ginninderra as an Independent in Wall was born and raised in Canberra and lives in Tuggeranong. He worked in the hospitality industry before joining his family's construction business in and was first elected as a member for Brindabella in Gowor is an accountant by trade and has worked across a range of Commonwealth agencies as a public servant and consultant.
His family moved to Canberra when he was four and he went to Monash primary school, Marist College and subsequently graduated from the ANU.
He was a keen chess player for many years and competed nationally. He enjoys skiing and soccer. Knight has lived in Canberra for over 20 years and currently works in the security industry. Willett has a degree in applied science health education and a graduate diploma in education.
He works in relief teaching in public and private schools. He has also worked at Karabar High School supporting at-risk youth and has held national leadership roles in education and not-for-profit charities, as well as local community organisations and churches.
Potter has completed several degrees and diploma's including a Master of Arts Leadership. He was a candidate at July's Eden-Monaro by-election when he polled votes or 0. Sandford is a local businessman who has a great deal of experience in the local trades and transport industry.
He has been self-employed for most of his working life running a small business and creating jobs for other local residents. Scott is married and has lived in Canberra all of his adult life.
